This tour across Russia includes three destinations known for their history, culture, and northern landscapes. The trip begins in Moscow, a city of historic squares, grand architecture, and important landmarks. The program then continues to St. Petersburg, known for its canals, palaces, and artistic heritage. The final part of the trip takes you north to Murmansk, an Arctic port city located above the Arctic Circle.
Throughout the program, visitors see historic monuments, royal residences, and well-known museums that preserve centuries of Russian history and art. Cultural performances present traditional music and dance. In Murmansk, winter landscapes and clear northern skies provide favourable conditions for viewing the Northern Lights during guided night outings.
The mix of historic cities, cultural experiences, and Arctic scenery offers a broad view of Russia and its regional traditions.

DAY 1
Cochin / Thiruvananthapuram – Moscow – Evening River Cruise
Begin your journey from Cochin or Thiruvananthapuram International Airport and board your flight to Moscow.
Upon arrival in Moscow, complete immigration and entry formalities. Meet your tour representative at the airport and proceed towards the city.
In the evening, enjoy a relaxing 2.5-hour cruise along the Moskva River aboard a Radisson cruise vessel. During the cruise, dinner will be served while you admire the illuminated skyline of Moscow and its historic buildings beautifully reflected
along the riverbanks.
After the cruise, transfer to the hotel and complete the check-in process.

DAY 2
Moscow City Tour – Historic Landmarks and Entertainment
After breakfast, begin a guided city tour of Moscow, the capital of Russia and one of Europe’s largest cities.
Visit Red Square, the historic heart of Moscow surrounded by iconic landmarks. Walk through Alexander Garden and continue to the Moscow Kremlin, one of the most important historical complexes in Russia. The visit includes entry to the Kremlin’s
historic cathedrals, known for their religious architecture and centuries-old artwork.
Later in the day, enjoy an entertaining performance at the famous Nikulin Circus, a well-known Russian circus featuring acrobatics, comedy acts, and traditional circus performances.
After the show, return to the hotel and relax for the evening.

DAY 3
Moscow to St. Petersburg – High-Speed Train
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the railway station.
Board the high-speed Sapsan train at 09:40 for the journey to St. Petersburg. The train connects the two cities in just a few hours, offering a comfortable and modern travel experience. Arrival in St. Petersburg is scheduled at approximately
13:40.
Upon arrival, begin a guided city tour of St. Petersburg, a city known for its canals, classical architecture, and grand squares created during the Russian imperial era.
In the evening, attend the Nikolaevsky Folklore Show where traditional Russian music and dance performances are presented in colourful costumes reflecting the country’s cultural heritage.
Return to the hotel after the show.

DAY 4
St. Petersburg – Peterhof Palace and Hermitage Museum
After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Peterhof Palace, often called the “Russian Versailles.”
Explore the magnificent palace interiors and beautifully landscaped gardens decorated with fountains, statues, and scenic views overlooking the Gulf of Finland.
Later, visit the Hermitage Museum, one of the largest and most famous art museums in the world. The museum houses millions of artworks including paintings, sculptures, and historical artefacts collected over several centuries.
Spend time exploring the museum galleries before returning to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 5
St. Petersburg to Murmansk – Arctic City Visit
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to the airport for your flight to Murmansk, a city located above the Arctic Circle.
The flight takes approximately two hours. Upon arrival, begin a guided city tour of Murmansk and learn about its importance as a northern Russian port city.
During the evening, travel outside the city in search of the Northern Lights. Local guides monitor sky activity and weather conditions to locate the best viewing areas.
Return to the hotel later at night.

DAY 6
Murmansk – Saami Village and Husky Safari
After breakfast, travel to a Saami Village to learn about the lifestyle, traditions, and culture of the indigenous Saami community who live in northern Arctic regions.
Visitors can experience elements of Saami culture and learn about traditional Arctic lifestyles.
Later, continue to a husky park where you will enjoy a husky sled ride across snowy terrain, one of the most popular winter activities in this Arctic region.
In the late evening, another Northern Lights viewing trip will be arranged depending on weather conditions.

DAY 7
Murmansk – Teriberka and Arctic Coast
After breakfast, travel to Teriberka, a small settlement located along the Arctic coast.
The region is known for its dramatic landscapes, Arctic coastline, and views of the Barents Sea. Explore the village surroundings and visit Teriberka Park.
Spend some time near the Arctic Beach and enjoy the rugged beauty of the northern coastline.
Return to Murmansk in the evening.
Weather permitting, another Northern Lights viewing trip will take place later during the night.

DAY 8
Murmansk to Moscow – Lenin Icebreaker Visit
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit the Lenin Icebreaker.
The Lenin Icebreaker was the world’s first nuclear-powered icebreaker designed for Arctic navigation. Today the vessel operates as a museum where visitors can explore its interiors and learn about its engineering and history.
After the visit, proceed to the airport for the flight back to Moscow.
Upon arrival in Moscow, transfer to the hotel and check in.

DAY 9
Moscow – Metro Tour, Zaryadye Park and Departure
After breakfast, begin a guided tour of the Moscow Metro system. Many metro stations are beautifully decorated with mosaics, chandeliers, sculptures, and architectural designs, making them unique among metro systems around the world.
Later, visit Zaryadye Park located near Red Square. The park features landscaped areas, walking paths, and viewpoints overlooking the Kremlin and the Moskva River.
You will have some free time for shopping at nearby markets or shopping centres.
Later, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Cochin or Thiruvananthapuram depending on your flight schedule.
