DAY 1: DEPARTURE FROM COCHIN – ARRIVAL IN ROME

Your journey to Europe begins this evening as you arrive at Cochin International Airport. After meeting your tour manager and completing the check in process, you will board your flight to Rome, Italy’s historic capital, often called the Eternal City. From ancient landmarks to world famous art and lively streets, Rome offers something at every corner. You will have a short layover in Doha before continuing your journey.

Once you land in Rome, complete the immigration and baggage formalities, and then head to your waiting coach for a comfortable transfer to your hotel. After checking in, take some time to relax and settle in after the journey.

Get a good night’s rest. Tomorrow, you begin exploring the rich history and iconic sights of Rome.

Spend the day discovering the history, art, and character of Rome, a city often seen as the cradle of Western civilization.

Begin with a visit to Vatican City, the spiritual center of the Catholic world. Step inside St. Peter’s Basilica and take in its scale, detail, and craftsmanship. From Michelangelo’s work to the impressive dome and beautifully designed interiors, every corner reflects centuries of artistic and cultural significance.

Continue with a photo stop at the Colosseum, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Standing in front of this landmark, it is easy to imagine the gladiator contests and public gatherings that once filled this space with life.

From here, proceed to Mount Titlis using a series of cable cars, ending with the Titlis Rotair, the world’s first revolving cable car that offers wide 360 degree views of snow covered peaks and glaciers.

At the summit, walk across the Cliff Walk, Europe’s highest suspension bridge, and take in clear views of the surrounding mountains. Visit the Glacier Cave and spend some time in the snow before heading back, carrying memories of a day filled with mountain landscapes and unique experiences.
